Laura L. Moore is a Senior Associate with Wilson, Morton & Downs. She provides legal counsel to local government entities and officials, as well as individuals and business clients. Her current practice areas include civil litigation, local government law, and education law. Prior to joining Wilson, Morton & Downs, Laura devoted her legal career to public service by serving as a Senior Assistant County Attorney for the Office of the Fulton County Attorney, and later the DeKalb County Law Department. In her time as a Senior Assistant County Attorney, Laura represented various county agencies with an emphasis on employment law and civil rights litigation in federal court. 

Laura was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned her B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Georgia, where she graduated cum laude, and she earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. She currently resides in Roswell, Georgia with her husband, Michael, and their two children. Outside of work, Laura is a longtime member of the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association, and she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
